Diesel Car Tuning
Tuning aspects on a diesel engine are usually fairly limited but at Daytuner, whilst we can’t fit a Power Commander, we feel we can offer benefits in increased torque and better fuel economy.
At the heart of our testing is the very latest State of the Art Dynojet 2 Lane 178 Load Control Dynanometer with a torque module for real time power results.
The dynanometer is enclosed in its own room which is temperature and humidity controlled to further aid
accurate diagnosis and recalibration work. With additional diagnostic equipment such as Indianna, VDS, BikeTech, Axone, Texa and Picoscope, accurate diagnostics and monitoring are at the heart of quality rectification and tuning.
For most modern road cars and vans, the best results are obtained from fitting an adjustable fuel management device called Tunit, Most vehicles will benefit from a 7% to 10% fuel saving as well as power increases of up to 30%.
For high mileage users, this unit can pay for itself within 50,000 miles as well as the vehicle having a greater trade in value.
